Mexican Tradition. Texas Crafted. Our Story

In January 2024, Caleb Morales set to build something of his own. With an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the traditions he grew up with, he turned to something that had always been a staple in the Morales family - homemade beef carne seca and venison jerky harvested from his grandparents ranch in Campwood, Texas.

As Caleb shared his family's thin, crispy style of carne seca with friends and neighbors, he quickly realized that many people had never experienced authentic carne seca from Northern Mexico and South Texas. Inspired by that discovery, the family came together to create Macho Jerky.

Named after "Macho", a miniature Hereford bull from the family ranch, Macho Jerky combines the rich carne seca traditions of Northeastern Mexico - particularly the state of Nuevo León - with bold Texas flavors and craftsmanship.

Today, Macho Jerky is proudly bringing a taste of tradition to customers across Texas and beyond, one batch at a time.
